I am going to get a new head unit, and I was wondering to get the best sound out of a amp and subwoofer should I get a head unit that has a Subwoofer Pre-amp? The cheaper ones say they have front and rear preamps, but how the hell would a subwoofer even hook up to that?
Also is there anything I should look for when purchasing one? do different head units give you better sound? Or when you see a Head unit that costs 500 dollars are you paying for all LCD screen bull****?
I could care elss about that. As an example I was looking at
Sony CDX-MP450X because I want a CD player and Mp3 player.
But i only see rear and Front Pre-Amps.
