Pioneer or Premier

[*]~400w max and ~150w rms (this is just off hand)[*]Depends on what kind of sound you want. If it is possible I always like going with enclosed boxes. Are the subs open to the air or is it a plexiglass box. In which case the plexiglass flattens the pioneers sound out to much since they are not powerful enough to really punch.[*]Sure they will sound good in any max, but what are you after. Do you want clarity, which Pioneer is favourable towards, or do you want your ears to bleed?

Do you have an amps yet? For the subs you got I reccomend going to the swapmeet in your area and getting hooked up on a deal.

Re: Pioneer or Premier

it is a standard ported box, not plexi, and i just want some good quality bass. was the swap meet a smart comment? ialready got a 400 watt amp. they say free air on the box what does this mean? im also adding a 12' MTX in a sealed box for extra sound. thanks for the help.
