200 x 2 rms @ 4 ohms??

Hi guys. I have been looking for an amp that will put out
200 rms x 2 @ 4 ohms. I have 2 alpine DVC 1241D's, 300 @ 4ohms rms, in a sealed enclosure.

It seems like most of the newer alpine amps are single channel. I saw the audiobhan A4601Q, it puts out 210 x2 bridged rms. What do u guys think of that? Also the Alpine MRV-1507 ( $440 ), puts out 300 rms x 2 @ 4ohms.

can you guys please suggest some good amps please. appreciate it

The Type Rs are great subs. I wouldn't run them at 4 ohms, you wouldn't be using the full capabilities of your amp. If you run them at 2 ohms (wire the subs in parallel), you can pickup a JBL 600.1 for around $200. The Type Rs are rated at 300 RMS, but they can take a lot more if you want to give them more power. You'd be safe giving them 400-500 each. Either way, they'll pound. WHat kind of box are you going to be using? I've heard these out of a ported box and they sounded great.

I have an MTX Thunder 2300 that is rated only at 150 X 2 RMS, however all MTX amps are underrated. Every Amp is bench tested before it is released, and mine was rated at 227 X 2 RMS. My friend also has an MTX rated 30 X 2 in the books, but preformed at 57 X 2 RMS.

Look at the Xtant amps or the JBL 600.1 or even the JL Audio amps, all good clean power, JBL much cheaper though.....

i have a sealed box. i thought that i had to run them @ 4ohmssince they are 12" Type-R Series Subwoofer (4ohm + 4ohm. i am sorry but i have never quite understood how that works. won't running them @ 2ohms mess up the subs??
thanks

Yeah, it's a little complicated. I don't really understand it too well either, I usually have to look at a chart before I hook up any subs. But I do know that the dual 4 ohm design will allow you to run two subs at 2 ohms if you wire them in parallel. It definately won't mess up your subs. If you have a manual with your subs, they'll probably show a simple chart about the different ways you can hook it up. You can run the subs at 4 ohms, but you won't be using your amps full capability.
