Alpine Out MTX Audio In...what a difference!

I scrapped my 2 Alpine SWE 1041 10" subs and an Alpine MRDM-300 Digital amp for what you see below...oh and I added the capacitor for piece of mind...

SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!!! Next step is Dynamat Extreme for all doors and the trunk. I was quoted $500 for parts and labor. Is that fair??

Feel free to comment good or bad on my system.

Looks good. I would've gone with 2 JL Audio subs though. But maybe that's just me cause I had a really good experience with a JL stealthbox (10w6 300 watt sub).

Looks good to me!

I'm personally not a big fan of Q-logic's vehicle-specific enclosures, but they work for sound-quality applications where people don't want to give up the stock look/trunkspace in the rear. Then again in that case, in a SQ setup, I'd chose JLs over the MTXs as Andy expressed.

You could look for a comparable knockoff material instead of dynamat so the price wouldn't be so expensive, if you're tight on the budget.
Either way, should be sweet

Man, save room and just get a IDMAX for that thing and have WAY more output then your 2 10's, I mean it. I wouldnt trade having my IDMAX for anything right now, the 1 12 of that amp (same as mine) is just stunningly clear and LOUD. Although, the sub does cost $450........lol

Nice system though! I bet it sounds great!

Andy, Regina and I will be there. 8:00AM at the 1st rest area west of 495 on the Mass Pike. With you bringing the BMW, I thought about bringing my faster toy, but figured I should stay loyal to foreign for this trip.

See you and Anna Sunday morning! It will be good to meet everyone (this will be my first time at an "org" get together.
