I currently have 3 10" JL W0 in a powerwedge enclosure. Its powered by a JL 500/1 amp. I want more bass so I'm thinking of getting either 2 10" W7 or 1 12" W7. What do you guys think? Will I need to upgrade my amp too?

1 10W7 to a 500/1, 2 10W7's to a 1000/1, 1 12W7 is ok with 500/1 but would sound better with the 1000/1.

yes it should. put the 10w7 to your amp, and it should sound much better, cleaner.
