jmax - the *best* sub out there? I know they've got quite a reputation, but that's a bold statement. Never heard one myself though - nobody here has even heard of Adire.
MrBlank - check out www.ampmanaudio.com for a few tidbits on Adires line, plus prices.

www.adireaudio.com And i actually heard some a few weeks ago, MUCH MUCH better than the w7 and L7. I got to hear a singe 10 and a single 12. Then 10 inch will beat your head in with a sledgehammer and sound good doing it, the 12 hits you like a train and is unbelievably accurate, i can only imagine what the 15 is like!

Yeah, check out www.adireaudio.com for info from the maker. You can also order direct from Seattle. Or you can order fom www.ampmanaudio.com - it's actually cheaper because they pay the shipping. I'm going ot be installing a ten in my wife's car later this summer. After I finnish Jay Johnson's pair of custom boxes for Brahma 12's. I have a big time problem because I frequently work more than 40 hours, and have a 1 - 2 hour commute each direction.
For owners impressions see the teamamp forum @ www.teamamp.com Dan Wiggins, President or CEO of Adire is a moderater so you get truly professional responses to many questions. But please read through several pages of post before asking a question, it's probably been answered already.
If anyone in the Northern Virginia / DC area wants to hear a Brahma send me an email. And I'll set up a driver for listening. You can hear next to one or more of my Diamond Audio Macdaddy's, or your own sub.

Well, I haven't connected any of the Brahma's yet. I have a ten and a twelve. I just now, as in 15 minutes ago started taking apart a really old 1 cubic ft box. I build it in '94. It's 3/4 inch particle board wrapped in 3/4 inch red oak plywood. It took me 15 minutes to unscrew and finally loosen the two 12 inch kickers that were mouned isobaric. Now that I got the drivers out I see why I couldn't get the baffle loose. I sealed it with roofing tar. Apparently it worked. So I will ahve to cut it loose. I'll try to start tonight. I might have to use some power tools and essentialy grind the old baffle off. Hopefully not, but maybe. Otherwise I can cut a new baffle tomorrow. Then I will have to do some eopxy work to build the baffle strong enough for the brahma. The 1 cubic foot enclosure will be good for the 900 watts the ARC 1500DR has to offer at 4 ohms mono. Alternately I can connect it to my Adcom GFA 555II in the house. But the adcom has no gain so it is difficult to adjust the level of the sub relative to the high's. More later if anyone wants to hear these subs . . .
