4th Gen Firewall Drilling

Ok, well, i found the little hole that goes from engine compartment to the wheel well. I have removed the mud guard and see where the wires go through the large rubber gasket into the compartment. I know i will need to drill another hole (please tell me if i dont need to) in that same general vacinity to get my 1/0AWG power cable through to the compartment. Is there ANYTHING AT ALL, ANYTHING I COULD POSSIBLY HIT in that area that would hurt the car? I can not tell if the metal panel in the wheel well is the same one behind the fuse box, or if there is a gap between those two panels. I just want to make DAMNED sure that there is nothing i could **** up by drilling in that area.

basically, is there anything important behind the firewall in the area just above the footrest? and is this the best possible place to drill. and do i NEED to drill, or is there a spot that can fit 1/0AWG?

thanks!
