Firsthand knowledge needed

I've got a '94 GXE, non-Bose. I'm looking for someone who is familiar with Infinity products, as this is what I would like to go with. I'm running a Pioneer DEH-P6400 HU (22Watts RMS). I want to push everything (except sub) with the HU. I've already got one Kappa 462.5 installed in the passanger door, but I think there are two problems. 1st, my head unit is simply not sending enough power to it, and 2nd, the HU is trying to send bass through it, which it is not designed to handle. Should I go with Reference series since I plan to run them off of the head unit? Should I throw some bass blockers on the fronts? Some firsthand knowledge would be great. Thanks. Sorry it's so long...and I haven't even begun debating between subs.

Infinity speakers sound best with seperate amp power, especially if you run seperate components in the door. Get a decent amp with a built in adjustable crossover for your best sound.

ANY aftermarket speaker will sound better off a decent, properly matched amp. PERIOD.

So, you're suggesting I get something like a 50x4 amp and drive the front and rears with that? This amp should also have a hi and lo pass crossover so for example I can send 200hz and up only to the front.

What about the HU? What would be the best way to set this up? With the two preouts, I'm not sure how I would do this if I'm planning to also run a sub. Any suggestions?

The Pioneer should have a built in crossover but only 50-80-125hz. Why would you want to go all the way up to 200?
