Looking for separate adjustable external crossovers

Can anyone steer me in the direction where I can find some separate external crossovers for sale? For some reason, on my alpine deck, the built-in HPF works fine for my door speakers, but when an amp is hooked up to the subwoofer preouts, it still runs that signal through the HPF, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of the functionality.

I'm going to verify that it still does this when I hook my sub up again. I've been playing around with the HPF on my eclipses and definitely need something for when I'm playing music with lots of low frequency bass.

Thanks in advance

You guys think a pair of cheapy Lightning Audio passive filters will work for what I need? I found 'em at 85Hz for $12.95, which would be right in the range frequency-wise of where I was looking to filter...
