Crutchfield sells infinity, and the only pair they list as fitting a 95 Maxima w/o bose "E-Z", ie without any modification, are the kappa 652.5i's. These are coaxial 6.75" speakers.

They say all 6.5s fit "P" in the car(which according to them, means they fit with a custom bracket that they include with the speakers).
Personally I got eclipse 6.5"s to fit in my 6.75 pods with 2 screws and a silicone gasket sealant. Not very convienent if I want to take them out for a small reason, but they sound fine with no air leaks around the outer edge. Course, mine had bose, but crutchfield seems to think the size of bose/non-bose pods in the 4th gens are the same.

I don't want old boy to get his speakers and have them not fit correctly. I'd trust crutchfield over one random person, especially when they don't have the speakers that are in question. Maybe your memphis 6.5s fit fine, but that doesnt mean these will. My 6.5s fit with minor modification, but I bought another pair of 6.5s before them that didn't fit AT ALL, and took them back for the eclipses.

edit for response to HNIC - yea, I think it's kind of hit and miss on each speaker brand/model what will fit perfectly (due to basket size, mounting depth, screw holes, and full diameter with mounting rim), with the little differences we've all found out. Good news is usually, if something doesn't fit perfectly, it will with a tiny bit of modification.

Do you have any instructions or tips on how I could seal my speakers?

Thanks

I have bought Infinity Kappas 6.5 components for the front and 6.5 Kappas 2-ways for the back. How do I hide the x-overs since they come w/each set of speakers, and what amp should I run those with? Or am I gonna be OK w/o amp?
