Replace the mids/tweets, then the head unit, then and a sub and amp, then amp the front, thats the order I would go if you can't afford it all at once.

To answer your question it would bring better sound but you will not get full potential until you get an amp and new HU

Nissan Makes a Stock Faceplate that replaced your current Center Vent system and provides a very nice looking Stock option to add an aftermarket head unit.

I understand the need to stay stock, but I couldn't get very far with my system, until I changed the HU. The bass on the stock system diminishes the louder you turn it, so amplifying that creates a ton of distortion. But I sympathise with your desires to keep the stock look. I got over it quick.

Yes it does. You can get a Pocket Accessory, that needs to be ordered separately, if you use a single Din Head Unit.

I didn't follow your comments regarding the crossover, but if you will restate your issue, I'll be happy to do my best to help.

I think what he is trying to get at is that he don't wanna see the head unit at all( like mine)...In a normal kit your gonna see it.

As for a crossover, there are so many options it just comes down to your setup.

by getting a high pass/low pass filter on my amp, or getting a crossover, i can take the bass out of the mids and highs.. thus not having 2 buy a new hu. that pocket accesory still leaves a gap 4 you to put stuff in, which i do not like.
