FS:8" Ascendantaudio Assasin SUBS $60 Shipped!

For sale are two 8" Assasin subs. I bought one, but the positive terminal was loose and I called them to replace it, but they ended up sending me a brand new one....so i took it out resodered the terminal and it works perfect. I used the sub in an IB setup similar to the thread, it isn't that old only a few weeks of actual use, Im looking for something a little larger 10" so I want to sell. It cost around 75 after shipping for one. so ill let one go for $60 shipped.

Ascendant Does not have anymore on their site, so this would be a good chance for you to try these bad boys out.

350 rms is the max they're rated for. If you know what you're doing these can take up to 1100 watts rms.... but you REALLY have to know what you're doing to accomplish that without frying.

Dang I would love to do like two 8's in my rear deck. But that seems like it would cost to much? Where were you mounting them?

It hits hard for an 8" the rubber is really tough, one of them is installed in my rear deck, IB. and since it's firing right in the car i can't turn it up loud or the people in back will die. So to answer your question yes it hit hard. I listen to mainly Hip Hop, and some rock. some of the really really really low bass it couldn't handle, but that's because of my settings, i needed a balance between the two with my speaker settings.

also to answer your other question, it shouldn't cost anythign really if you already have a whole, if not you just have to get a hold of a dremel and a few bits to cut out a whole. then deadend the the rear deck, I have Second Skin, a good amount left from my project that ill sell to you as well if you're interested. about 15 sq worth, more than enough. but i can sell you what you need per sq feet.

Repair looks fine, although the pic is a little fuzzy. Anyone wanting to buy should not worry about the repair, all he did was put new solder on, its probably stronger than it was from the factory. Free bump for a nice sub.

I am not in a hurry. I was about to go with 2 6.5" subs in my rear deck and pulling the 10, but if you were willing to let the 8s go I would rather do 2 8s than 2 6.5s. I'd rather do this once and be done with it.
