Btw the 8" is actually not MEANT for free-air, though it is suitable, its an enclosure sub for anyone who might be scared seeing that its a free-air sub.

Anyone looking for a line driver the matrix is the ****. I have one and it's great. Provides a perfect signal to my amps and gives me TONS of headroom.

i have an eclipse 6213 (I think, its upstairs) Class D two channel. Very powerful and extremely clean power for class D. Does 250 RMS x 2 at 4 ohms and 1000RMS at 4 ohms bridged. lowpass filter, subsonic and all that jazz. Retailed for 600 new IIRC. Have manual, box, everything. Could probably run a set of components like boston pros very well...

Also have two lighting audio storm amps. Very solid, designed bu fosgate in 01. Internals look very clean. 800.4 does 100rms x4 at 4 ohms, 400.2 does the same for two channels. 400rms bridged.

I might actually sell the four channel soon, If I do youll be the first I'll contact KCM

Question about the Eclipse AVN2454. If I live in Canada, is there a CD I can buy so that I can use the NAVI? From what I've read, the unit has NAVI for only the US.

 

the Navi is DVD based, so im sure there is a DVD that covers canada. ill try to find out for you.

 

Thanks man. If there is a Canadian Navi DVD then I'd be very interested in it. If there is one, I'm hoping it doesn't cost an arm & a leg!

 

in looking again, the DVD says North America on it, so id assume that means canada as well. ill check when i get home, itll tell me.

 

So I did some research & yes, the supplied Navi DVD covers parts of Canada. With that said, I have 3 questions:

1) Are you the original owner of this unit, if so, how long have you had it for?
2) Can you take brighter/better pics of the unit (especially the face) so I can see what condition it is in?
3) Does the unit have the most up-to-date updates from Eclipse? If not, how & where do I get them?

-yeah im the original owner, the unit is about 2-2.5 years old, i got it around xmas '04.
-ill take brighter/better pictures either tonight or tomorrow morning for ya
-the only updates that i am aware of is a newer version of the navi disc, which i do not have. youd have to get it from eclipse or an eclipse dealer. but as far as i know, there are no firmware updates for the unit.

yes they are a pair...2 mid range, 2 tweeters, 2 crossovers, everything that would come in the package normally.
