i followed the wiring instruction from crutchfield. when i use the CD player, the antenna goes up unlike our OEM CD player. crutchfield support agent said that is how it is wired for after market receiver. are you folks experience the same thing. thanks.

my panasonic deck only powers on the antenna when the radio kicks in. Did you buy the antenna adaptor when you installed the deck?

ok i have a radio problem. i pulled out the entire center column with the radio, ac controls, vents/defroster/clock panel, cig lighter, and shifter bezel. everything worked before removal. now when i tried to put it back, the radio will not turn on but the antenna goes up even of the car is off. as well the clock is not receiving power. i tested the voltage to the radio and with the car off it is only getting about 6 volts. with it running about 8 volts. i didn't screw around with the wiring or anything. what coule the problem be? any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you double checked all of the connections? It does sound like something got screwed up back there when you did the work.

Heh, it was in the 4th gen forum, I guess Kevlo (I assume) intended to move it to the actual AVE forum.
