Where can I run a wire for the system?

 

Kind of a vague question...

From battery through firewall to interior?
or
From head unit to trunk? or?

Assuming from the battery, some people use the existing grommet for the hood release latch. Pull back the black wheel liner and you'll see it.

I've seen some drill a new hold and add their own grommet just to the right of the master brake cylinder.

 

From aftermarket head unit sorry

 

I have mine running through the dash, down under the door step plates, behind the rear seats and coming out right under the rear shelf.
