Good luck at National. I got whooped last year by Sumida and Kalman. But I was running in Kumho 711, which isn't the best tire for autocrossing. All for fun though, and no excuses. lol. Good luck Daniel.

Ill be there too. Right after I get the stock intake back in!

On another subject, do I have a crazy cool idea for a solo2 mod.

How about (dry?!) ice-cooled copper tubing for cold air flowing into the intake!??! Ive already got 50% of it made so dont flame me too hard!

Plenty of details available if anyone's interested! hee hee

Good idea for dragstrip but be prepared for a protest in autox. Street Prepared rule 14.10C reads "The use of chilled liquids, ice, dry ice, refrigeration systems, vaporized compressed gasses, etc. is prohibited.". Otherwise everyone would be running these

I was about to install a dual Cry02 system for +14tq before I saw the rule

HOWEVER

YOu could probably get away with sticking a peice of Dry Ice under your intake manifold. People might wonder what the steam is though. I'd be concerned about what the dry ice would do to everything under there. on second thought having a fuel line freeze probably isn't worth the minor gains you'd get.

You guys missed a great one!!!!

Man...Today was an awesome day at the track. The course was very technical, and fast moving. The surface was nice and smooth.
Weather perfect, sunny but not too hot.
Best of all we all got 4 runs and 2 fun-run sessions (Something that never happens in the SFR region)
I finally tried cranking up the rear AGX's and the front ones all the way down...was amazed at the results...I can now actaully rotate the rear end out (a little) in the corners...herrray for (Almost) neutral steering.
Congrats Erjan!!!!! for your stout tromping of the GS-N competition (Again).
And thanks for letting me throw your max around the course a couple of laps and trying out your sweet 12lb 15's on my max... You have one hell-of-a car there.

Dude, thanks! And you nailed it on that FR lap BIG time! To the point of (Got it on tape, I think you'll like it)

I luvs me max

About the CO2- whoops! Cant compete in classes where its legal and stand a chance. But.... if I can make it "swappable"... Fun runs are siiick!

Anyone got thoughts on the chance you might cause damage to any part of the car with, say frinstance, -15 C air goin into the intake? I could see plastic not exactly liking it, eh?

Sorry guys I've been out of it. I got a problem (minor) with the car. It seems at the last event in marina I cracked my battery post and it's leaking gel all over. I just noticed it this weekend when I checking all the fluids. So now I have to get another battery.

Brian glad you had fun at atwater (that sound wierd!)I wish I could have been there... I'l be at the next one for sure.
