shocks for max
looking for a replacement for stock shocks. I have maxspeed springs.
I'm looking for adjustible, are they worth the extra $$?
Choices seem to be.
AGX with fronts modified by catttman or koni using shell of front struts.
Coilovers seem to be the way to go, but to much $$, trying to get a set of tires as well. (although the eibach coilovers don't seem that bad ~$400)

Thanks for the info,
AGX's are stiff on the softest setting? Looks like I'm going to go that route, unless I happen to come across a grrreat deal on the JICs.

AGX's are worth the money if you don't want to get JIC Coilovers. My Eibachs and AGX's are a very good setup on the track. Though a bit rough for everyday driving, They are well worth the improvement on the track IMHO. Unfortunatly the only avalible coilover at the time I purchased my setup was the $1800 cattmans which i wasn't interested in.
The "Eibach" coilovers made by Ground control are good but you will still be needing the AGX's or Koni's ($500-$700) so this setup will be very close to the cost of the JIC's which are a true coilover and most likely superior any of the above mentioned combos. I would have gone the JIC route if they had been out.

Hope my late-night ramblings help you out.... now it's time for some sleep.
For combination street and light auto-x both the AGX or Koni will do fine. I still don't have coilovers as they really aren't necessary. But I will be revalving my Koni's as I'm told that will improve my handling more than any other mod right now.
Advance design will build you some Double adjustables with titanium insides and aluminum shells for $1400. DA would be nice as I feel the The koni's need alot more rear compression and Alot more Front rebound. But to have them revalved is guess work with double adjustables it's simple to fix what you may screw up as playing with the compression can be a very BAD thing. I'd really like to talk matt into getting the advance designs so we could play with them and learn alot but I don't think he'd go for it espically since he can't afford to go to local autoxes lately.
