I learned 2 things A. you can never have enough brakes B. mastercraft tires aren't the best you can buy. Never the less i had lots of fun and plan on doing it again.

Congrats, man. You have officially been bitten by the track bug. Mastercraft tires may not be the best, but there's a lot you can learn about car control from them . Don't get sticky tires just yet. Do about two more events then go for it!

that tracks looks pretty rough in sections. I agree that r-compound tires are not good to learn on since they give little warning of when they are about to let go. its always good to see new people learning how to turn their vehicles as opposed to going in a straight line.

Yeah the elevation change was interesting. Each track session is a kinda pricy and for a 17 year old i want to make the best of each session. I'm planning on buying all the stuff to redo the brakes in the group deal but i'm not sure on what to do suspension wise.

elevation changes are fun, but I don't like the look of the forrest on the side of the track, I tend to like a little bit of runoff since i need to drive my car home after an event. Brakes do some brembo blanks, hawk hp+ pads, SS lines and some good high temp fluid, I use the Valvoline Syntec and flush before each event (SpeedBleeders are a lifesaver). And there was a good write-up on suspension set up from Sport Compact Mag that I think Bejay posted, everyone has something different and you may be like me where decisions are money based .
