oh yea mike kojima is the man. since i bought an ser i havent even cared about whats available for the maxima. i have been getting tips and tricks off the sr20forum. they really know their stuff. ex. high spring rates, shorter and adjustable dampers, and a small drop.

 

How is that different than what's available here?

 

shortened konis, shigspeed, truechoice, ect. i could go on with all their custom parts. my point is they have a much bigger aftermarket support especially for autox, rr, scca parts.

 

JSutter - there may very well be better aftermarket support for the SER, but that's really just end results. Hopefully, most of this wider support has been properly thought out, as you're better of dealing with only one or two sources who have really done their homework (and understand it well enough to be able to accurately explain it) than sifting through similar products from a dozen suppliers that have a total of one clue split up among the whole 12.

Anyway, the general theory/engineering/math is still the same. Only the details differ.


As for the link itself - in the chart at the bottom, keep in mind that the column labelled "Range of adjustment that is useable for most cars" is not intended to be a list of upper-limit values. Specific applications may need/want more of one or more adjustments (though you should have a really good understanding as to why in such cases).

Well, for rr, I don't know, I've seen at least one SE-R banging off the rev limiter at only like 105-110mph.
Of course it was passing me (turn 1 at Pocono) with some decent mods, but I still was faster in the straights (bone stock).
