Maxima motorsports discounts?
Years ago I lobbied for contingency money out of Nissan Motorsports for both autocross and time trial HPDE events. At the time there was no funding available for any amateur racing whatsoever, no 240SX, Maxima, Sentra, Z, anything Heck, there wasn't much avail for pro-racing either.
Just learned today watching Grand-Am about the new NASA SpecZ class that's been running this season. Not only is there now gobs of funding, but between June - July they paid $100 to any 350Z just for finishing; $500 for each 1st place in regionals
Of course Nissan offers competition parts discounts to their drivers, and makes the VPP program available as well. Looking at the document I see a Maxima pictured and wonder if we qualify for "below dealer" pricing on new Maxima's? See last page...

Nothing wrong with CVT if they're done correctly and you shed some uneeded weight (extra 3000lbs). This took 2nd and 5th on PAX at Lincoln.
Jeff and Stefan just posted they're selling this badboy for $10K!
