There is a Buyer who owes me money,
a person to whom I sold some struts cheap, for whom I spent more than I wanted to on shipping, who got the parts and installed them over two months ago and whose identity I will protect for maybe 10 more days, at the end of which time I will make it very well known in every forum that he owes me money.
And if you are reading this, it's now $200 bucks, not $175....it's called interest and aggravation

Somehow I doubt the buyer is scared, nor will (s)he pay extra for your aggrevation. Might as well name him now.

I have his address, of course so....I will have a New York friend pay him a visit.....
Hmmm, is that a threat?
honestly, it's not worth getting all wound up over for $25... I don't know your original difference in price, but if you're adding interest and aggrivation to it, the original difference couldn't have been more than $10 or $15....
in that case, you should have asked for the proper amount of money up front and confirmed the actual shipping price beforehand. $15 is no big deal in the grand scheme of things, so I suggest to just save everyone the hassle and eat it. just remember not to do it again.

You can't add $25 arbitrarily for interest and aggrivation, as if you're a loan shark collecting an extra fee. You probably shouldn't be threatening him either.
If you agreed at a price before hand and he's confirmed delivery, what were the agreed upon sales terms?

You guys are not reading this right.....he owes me the full agreed-upon amount of $175 bucks...he has paid me nothing, nada, zero, zippo.
The comment about the extra 25 bucks is because he has not paid me anything, I should now charge him 200 -when I see him.

I trusted someone who obviously could not be trusted. That's not a 'fault', that's a mistake.
Curiously enough (or maybe not) he's from New York, just like you.

Galo, if you know the guy put the stuff on, ie... posted here that he did, and you sent him the stuff a long time ago, it would seem he's disrespecting you here. So I don't really see the need to protect him.
I suppose, since the items went by usps(??), you have a mail fraud case and you can elect to bring in the postal inspectors. Especially when you have the address and contact numbers etc.....

Jeff..I definitely agree with you but I do have some friends in NY who are going to go see him and remind him nicely that he owes me.....if that does not work, then I will do what u suggest.
It's not the money, it's the damn principle of it and the fact that there were other folks here who I could have sold this to that would not have tried to screw me
Thanks for your support, regards

By continuing to protect his name, the same results may happen to other members. I understand and can appreciate the principle. It wouldnt matter to me whether $2 or $2000, the principle remains the same. But please post his info so that nothing happens to others...

Furthermore, i'm sure you learned a valuable lesson from this, and that is what life is all about. There is nothing at all wrong with making mistakes, just don't keep making the same ones over and over again!
