documentation of MAXMUS_X + ROCKART Deal

So I have agreed to purchase a set of 4 2002 OEM Maxima 17 inch alloys and 4 Nexen N3000 summer tires with 95% treadlife from Maxmus_X for $557.00 shipped from Lincoln, NE to Delray Beach, FL.
We originally were going to do the Paypal deal, but I dont want to have to wait for that money to clear, and he does not want to lose %5 of the price to their fees.

Therefore, we have agreed that I send a personal check to him.
I know that in this method of payment there are countless stories of people getting screwed with no recourse, so I wanted to document the transaction before it takes place. Maxmus_X agreed to post in this thread, agreeing to its stipulations, before I send the check.

I didnt really know where to put this, so mods please dont lock or remove till the deal is over (~2 weeks from today)

I, ROCKART (Franc), agree to pay $557 dollars via personal check to Maxmus_X (Mike) for a set of four (4) 2002 17" Nissan Maxima OEM wheels as well as four (4) brand new (less than 50 miles on each) Nexen N3000 summer tires. The tires and wheels will be shipped from Lincoln, Nebraska to Delray Beach, Florida.

I will be mailing the check out tomorrow (2/14/08) to his residence.
I will have visual evidence of the check as well as the carbon copy.

I dont think that there is going to be a problem with this deal, but I want as much proof of everything as possible before it happens. $557 is a lot of money to me.

I have his cell phone number, and he has mine.

Mike, once you post here and agree to this transaction, I will mail the check. Also, please PM me your full name and address.

Thank you.

I Maxmus_X will ship a set of 4 2002 OEM Maxima 17 inch alloys and 4 Nexen N3000 summer tires to Rockart upon cleared check of $557.00.

Rockart, I've been here since Jun of 2003 and have not been banned or made any troubles with the sales I've done although not many. I hope that helps. I've also made a sale on a stage 2 bar and will be sending that out today.

Thank you.

A debit card works just as well. Go to a Citizens or Bank of America and open up a free checking account w/ a MasterCard Debit card. Cannot complain.

Paying Paypal fees is retarded. All you need is a free basic account, not a stupid Premier account. Then pay with cash (ie your bank account) and there are never any fees to worry about.

theres a 3.3% transaction fee taken from the funds when they arrive to the recipient, unless you know another way and i'm missing something.

They should only take 3% when receiving funds, not sending. There is no getting around that.

it would make him realize that screwing me on this would result in the loss of the org. better than doing a 550 dollar transaction via PMs and phone calls right?

If anything this will show that we both can be trusted for future transactions with others or at least help out another person in deciding if they should eal with us or not. Not to be too rude, but I"m not sure why people are responding to this thread even though it doesn't affect them in anyway. Paraoid, idk, but if this helps us get what we want than it did its job. Plus this is another way for us with communications and updates of what is going on in the transaction.

To Rockart, First chance on Monday this will be out of my house and heading towards your place.

Jesus Christ. How many iTrader ratings have I had? This is definately a first I've seen. I've sent and received over $7000 before with less hassle than this.

Federal Credit unions tend to cover you alot better than private banks, which are just out for profit....
