95turbo gxe ...Where are YOU? DO NOT BUY FROM!

I just noticed the other thread for a negative feedback for 95turbo gxe, and I hate to say it but it is happening to me too right now.

I sent him $400 for the D2 coilovers he was selling off his 4th gen. I made an inquiry about a week before sending payment and made sure that they were off the car before I sent the money over.

I have PM's documenting all of this, and will post them at a later date if necessary.

Cliffs, I sent him payment on Jan 13th, and told me he shipped them a few days later. On Jan 24th, I received an email from UPS saying that "A tracking number had been created but nothing had been dropped off yet". He PM'ed me on Jan 27th (the day that UPS said the package would have arrived if he had ACTUALLY DROPPED IT OFF) and I have not heard from him since.

He has not updated me since Jan 27th and I have sent him 3 PM's, about 3 days apart asking what the hell was going on. I have been more than patient and I will be filing a paypal claim in a few days if he still fails to comply.

Cliffs: DONT BUY FROM THIS SCUMBAG

Just wanted to update...

He PM'ed me 2 nights ago with an updated tracking number and since then I received the coilovers. Glad that this worked out without having to file a dispute.

I agree it is probably a good idea to get a phone number, I just know from experience some people don't like to give out personal information.

At least it worked out and both parties are satisfied. I am just glad that it is the middle of the winter and I was in no real rush to get the parts.
