From a mechanical standpoint, it's a 100% direct swap.

Since I converted the throttle body to cable, I'm not sure if running the 09 TB will be completly hassle free electronically.

Read about your hybrid setup in your i30.....I have an 07 Altima se 3.5 6 speed and was interested in doing the 09 maxima upper intake manifold and throttle body....ive read that this is a direct bolt on for my car but haven't found much detail on the swap...Can you confirm that this is a direct swap and if not what was involved?
