Connell Nissan in Costa Mesa, CA

These guys suck major A$$.

I bought a 1990 300zx twin turbo from them, they promised to replace the tires and brakes as part of their safety requirement.

They DIDN'T. Less than 20% brakes in front and less than 25% in the rear. Also, the tires were so worn that some of the patch was showing through. All they did was put tire dressing on.

When I approached the General Manager about the situation, he told me the car is sold as-is, even though by LAW the dealership is required to meet those safety requirements.

Since I was planning to mod the car anyways, I just let it go. But be wary when you go to Connell Nissan in Costa Mesa, CA. They are so full of $hit it's not funny. Instead, go to Irvine Nissan.

Call Nissan customer care at 1-800-NISSAN1 and complain about the dealership. Hopefully it will resolve it. Tell them that you don't feel safe driving this car in the condition that it is in. Was there a due bill signed when you bought your car?
