heres my story, I am about to purchase a 94 sentra and the clutch is slipping, thats cool with me teach the old lady how to drive and finish breaking it I dont mind at all.

I call stillen and the dude answers, I asked I want to purchase a ACT clutch for a 94 sentra? he replies you live in Ca or Ga, I reply Ga. He then says you have a 98 maxima I say yes. He then comes up with a price and it is $399.99 I said thats a stage 3, he says no thats a dual friction, I reply no I want a ACT. He comes back and says $398 I said thats a stage 3 I dont want a stage 3, I dont have a Turbo in my car, he replies I thats a stage 1 I said later hung up the phone. I may sound stup!d but I am not stup!d and hate been played for a du ma sss. I only did this since I was in the sentra forums and the guy said to check them out. Are those Moferfckers that stu!d? I dont ever want to deal with those idiots ever. I found a better price $225 shipped or $212 shipped from this other website. I may go with the $225 deal sounds much more promising since I have ordered from them before.

Jay, you know you really should have asked for the p/n of that kit. ACT has specific kit p/ns for their different stages.

Not to be an ****, but I think you should have been familar with ACT's p/n system and you should have called out that idiot sales rep with that information.

I told him from the begining I just want a clutch for a 94 sentra, but is no big deal, I am most likely getting it from Pablo, I just called him and his giving me a good deal as well $210.00 plus shipping and I am most likely getting this car tonight.

Yeah, don't assume anything w/ Stillen. Is that a good price for an ACT for a Sentra? That would be a KILLER price for a maxima!

if you have an SER, the street setup is NX9-HD00.

N standing for Nissan
X generic term for most Nissan vehicles
HD heavy duty pressure plate
00 stock street disc

Retail on this kit is $383 so Stillen is charging a bit more than suggested retail; of course no one really charges full retail.

Make sure you're getting the correct product. $225 is very low, well below dealer cost so if someone sells at that price, they will be losing a bit of cash on the deal.

I think I need a clutch. 42,000 miles, and it releases REALLY high now, and is definatly not as "crisp" when it engages.

I will drop the tranny in two weeks to install this ACT clutch. Once I get it from Jhans then. Wont be dealing with stillen any longer, Ill just go else where.
