Bad experience with Stillen

just wanna let all you guys who are thinking about getting stuff from Stillen that they're a joke. their customer service is horrible. i told these guys that i can get their products from other websites for cheaper than them and they said "well you don't get the Stillen customer service from them like you get from us". well, they sent me the wrong product, took them 2 weeks to get me a return authorization #, and now that they have received it it's been another 3 weeks and i still haven't gotten word from them on my refund. i thought Stillen was supposed to be top notch. last time i do business with Stillen.

That sucks dude. Maybe it was just one bad experience? I've personally never ordered from them, but as far as I hear, they are supposed to be some of the best. A little overpriced though I thought.

I know what you mean dude.

We should have a sticky of how many times people have gotten bad customer service from stillen (just as a record, no flaming) to see how big that list would be.

But on the flip side of the coin, there have been some good experiences w/ the dealer. It all really depends on who you talk with....

Sorry to hear about your bad experience!

I ordered once through them (air intake) paid bout 50 bucks more than anybody else charged but whatever. Haven't bought anything from them since. I have bought just about all my other stuff at custommaxima.com I usually get what I order about 3 days later.
they have never done me wrong.

If you had searched for Stillen Customer Service Reviews before buying, you would realize that most poeple on this board are of the opinion that Stillen sucks *****.

Only thing and the only times I have and will ever buy anything from Stillen is in person. I picked up my Y-pipe at one of their garage sales for only $99. I cringe at the thought of actually speaking and trusting my order with some of those yackos. Seems like 20% of the orders are fumbled up.

The guy they hooked me up with was Phil. Haven't had a good experience with Stillen or Phil. I'm all done with them though. I'll go through www.custommaxima.com or other websites to get my stuff.

Stillen

I've heard both bad and good about Stillen. I have ordered a y-pipe from them in person and spoke with a guy named Hamilton, he was cool. Since I live sort of close to them (Whittier, they are in Costa Mesa) I picked it up in person. The service was ok, not outstanding. But when I complained about the y-pipe, it was obvious they didn't give a sheeeit about my complaint. They kept giving me the run around, telling me their techs were not available, to call nissan, etc. So on that end, I will say their service licks b@ll$. Afterwards I found the y-pipe for cheaper on the net w/shipping brand new and I was pi$$ed off. I don't think I'll be dealin' with 'Stealin' (not Stillen) again

They don't understand their own products most of the time. Most definately NOT just one bad experience.

The few times I called them up to ask for information and pricing, I just got the sense that the sales person was more interested in making a sale as quickly as possible and not helping me find the "right" setup. It is no surprise that I never bought the parts I called them about from them. I see no reason why I should give them my business and reinforce that kind of attitude.
