Autoaccessorystore.com's customer service SUX (long)

I bought a synthetic aluminum gauge bezel over a month ago and I was not satisified with the product when it finally got to me, so I asked them if I could send it back for a refund and they said ok.

I sent it back and after a week or so, I called them to ask if they had received it. They acted like they couldn't find it or something and they told me to call back in a few days.

I called them again and he said that he found my package that I sent them and that I will receive my refund shortly. I said thanks and hung up.

After another week, I called and asked them why I haven't received my refund and they said that they will send it out Monday.

Another week goes by and I still don't have money.
I call them yet again and they said that they will paypal the money back to me in a few days.

I wait another week and a half and today I called them AGAIN! I told them that I have called at least 5 times and each time someone has said that my money will be sent to me. I asked them to send me the paypal while I'm on the phone with them so I know I am receiving it. He puts me on hold and asks me for my tracking number BS, BS, BS...
and I tell him that The last time I called, it was understood that the package I sent back to them was in their warehouse and my refund would be sent. I told him to refund me NOW as I am on the phone. He said he would talk to his manager and his manager tells him that my refund would be sent within the hour. Paypal or mail, he doesn't know. I asked him, if I call back tomorrow, it would be sent out already, right? He says yes. Blah Blah

I have a feeling that these guys are not going to send my fuking $36.00 back to me anytime soon!

I will not stop calling them until I receive my refund!

Any suggestions??

I have done business with Igor in the past, he is a very busy guy but has good intentions. Like with CustomMaxima.com, it is best to give us the benefit of the doubt that we are trying to help you rather then presuming that the service is poor. Thanks for your post, it provided helpful info.

whatever...I'M DONE with custom maxima. I'm 19 and never will EVER again order something from you again.

I got that keychain that says MAXIMA and it broke, I sent it back in an envelope with my RMA and I called u guys 2 weeks after and i was told u *Supposedly* never got it...WTF?

Then I was told that you can do nothing for me, that its my mistake.

I guess this is the type of service I get after advertising your company on my car and referring a bunch of my local friends to you, since then I removed your stickers and told my friends not to deal with you because of the service I recieved

I say F*CK THAT

THANKS ALOT CustomMaxima!

Igor, as we state on our website the key chain offers a lifetime warranty. You shipped back the part to be replaced as we promised. It is up to you to make sure it is addressed correctly, and have the ability to track the package. For a dollar more you can get delivery confirmation which insures the product gets here. If it does not then you can track it to see where it is. We get about a hundred packages a day and make sure each one is processed properly. I would contact the place you sent it out from to get a tracking number. If you get a tracking number and it shows it was delivered successfully then we would be happy to give you a new keychain.
Igor, realize that we are not out to rip you off, especially on such a small dollar item as a key chain. Do this, try to get the tracking number and call Steve in our sales dept. He is head of our sales dept and had the ability to send out free product, adjust pricing, etc. His extension is 103. Call 1-800-806-5798 and I am sure we can get this resolved for you.
Thanks,
Greg

Dude, I was told by "Steve" to send it by regular mail. No, I don't have a tracking #. The keychain broke and all I had was the ring and the little peice to prove to Steve that it was your keychain, that's the reason he told me to drop it into a reg. envelope and put a stamp on it.

I am 100% certain I addressed it correctly and I'm pretty sure you guys recieved it.

But when you say:

What does that say about the quality of your products?

I was ripped off, I am now $30 out of pocket for something I don't have and can't use.

Thanks again

How can you be sure we received it. When I said we received a hundres packages a day, that is incoming inventory, all coming by UPS, and regular mail. Returns are part of it. We average less then 3 returns a week. That shows the quality of our products is great. In fact last year we sold over 1000 key chains and only 9 came back as defective. Not sure how you are out $30, the key chain was only $7. If i was you, I would not give up on something so easily where I felt I was mistreated. Seems like you were disgruntled and gave up to soon. Take the time to do a little research and I think it will work out in the end in your favor.

Bro if it was $7 I wouldn't be venting...

It was like 21 bux when it was first released + shipping, came to like $30.

Even now on ur page its $14 + shipping http://www.custommaxima.com/KeyChain.php

What research is there to do for me? I have nothing to prove that u got it, nada.

What other options do I have then to give up? Not like ur just gonna say HERE and kaboom I get a new keychain?

Despite the bad dealings in this one thread, time after time I have heard of problems with Custom maxima. Incorrect parts of front strut bars being sent 4 times in a row to the same person, never getting money back for returns, incorrect prices of suspension products on the website, after purchased the customer being demanded to pay for your mistake or not receiving the product. I will be honest, these stories I hear are the reasons why not one mod on my car was purchased from CustomMaxima. You may have a larger selection than other companies, but customer service comes first with me

I meant to say $14, guess for some reason in my head I divided it by two. hehe. When it was first released the price was $21, later our manufacturer lowered our price by $7 so we passed the savings on to our customers rather then pocketing it. Research you can do is, see if you can track the package to find where it went. If it got lost in the mail it is not our fault and does not warrant you being upset at us. You implied in your earlier post that we received it and did not want to send you a new one. That is not correct. As I stated earlier we are still more then willing to help you out with a replacement keychain. If you can get us the defective keychain then we will send you a new one same day no questions asked, its as simple as that. If it was lost in the mail, I am sorry to hear it. Next time make sure you use delivery confirmation or insurance. Trust me, we have screwed up in the past too and lost money from packages getting lost in the mail. Now every package we ship has a tracking number and insured just in case it does not make it to its destination.

No hard feelings. Make sure the company you bought it from gives you a lifetime warranty too. Enjoy your keychain. Anything else we can do for you just ask.
Thanks,
Greg
