check with your dealer there is a recall for alternators they will replace it for free

I'd goto http://www.partsamerica.com for your alternator. It's $125 with lifetime warranty. Plus partsamerica is the site for kragen, schucks, checkers etc. I can exchange the core locally, and pickup a new one locally and get free replacements if it goes bad..locally. I'd also check autozone and pep boys for anything else but OEM needs.
Oh yah..and double check the recall. Call up a dealer, give them your VIN and see if the recall applies to you.
