Hi Everyone,

Has anyone had good experiences with any transmission shops in Southern California? I am in the Westwood/Santa Monica area.

I have seen stu's transmission in long beach (5531 Cherry Ave - (562) 428-4641) mentioned.

I also got www.westsidetransmission.com from google.com. Any other places?

My friend's 97 Maxima transmission is acting up (harsh shift P->R, and hesitation and then surge while in D) and we're looking for a good shop that would do a good job and won't rip her off.

take it to stus that where i have been taking my car for years.had my maxima clutch work done there. i think the do great work and never had any problems with them
