I was only getting them to install a new tranny for me. The tranny was $1025 shipped from Autogator in California. The installation price was $500. After, they installed my tranny, they found out my motor was shot. The car only has 110k on it. So now, they are installing a motor too. The motor is coming out of a wrecked 98 max with about 32k on it. The price on it is $1200. The installation price of the motor is another $800. So after spending $1500 thinking that I'll fix my tranny and be rolling again. I spend $2000 more on a motor to put in a car I just bought. Man, is life so great!?
