SOUNDS GOOD, discounts are always favorable, im waiting on my polished aluminum front strut bar for my 02 Max to come in, I was told that it will be coming in this Monday so im really excited, also, there is a sale from www.umnitza.com with the angel eyes for the 02/03 maxima. They are selling them for 149.99, your site has them for 199.99, I would much rather give you my money then someone else for parts so I was wondering if you were willing 2 match there price while they have the sale goin on?

Youd be better off getting the DDE's from Umnitza. I mean, they MAKE them, why buy second party?

what's that supposed to be, bad stuff about enterprise? i read your links and im sorry but i am on the side of enterprise and no it has nothing to do with the previous post, it has to do with business. yes my front strut bar was ordered on April 11th and it is now may 1st and i haven't received it but so what, i call up every once and a while, check on its status, see how everything's goin and i never get an attitude or a fake excuse from anyone. its called business, shiznat happens, you just gota roll with it. If a problem comes up all they can do is figure it out, all we can do is understand and compromise.

I'm sorry I forgot to answer your question about the strut bar too. The polished bars are our best sellers and often sell out quickly. We will definately have them in stock probably by Wednesday. I'll give you the angel eye rings for $140 shipped since you had to wait for the strut bar. Call me Monday morning and I will take care of you.
Thanks,
Greg

Maxima-Ness, how can you be talking crap and discrediting CustomMaxima when they are actually on this forum, interacting with the members? Tell me when anyone from Stillen has been on here beating other prices, and offering any information people need? And why are you trying to convince someone else to not buy from CustomMaxima? If you don't want to that's fine, but don't try and act like you know everything and say people are naieve because they don't see the way you do... I've bought from CustomMaxima before and everything went great, when I do make more purchases this summer, I will be making them from CustomMaxima as well and giving them all the money I plan on spending on Illuminas and other parts... And thanks Greg, that is awesome what you do for us Maxima Enthusiasts!

i had a pretty good experience with custommaxima. except for the fact that when i ordered my short throw shifter they wouldnt give me the discount as mentioned on the maxima.org review (which was basically the only reason i ordered it) and also the guy taking my order kept snorting snot and it was kinda nasty. but overall they have good service and fast shipping. just wish i would have gotten my discount!

Yea, we'll see who gets owned.

I was only tryin to help you out, but you obviously dont really care. I know that ones persons voice does not make a company go out of business. There will be plenty of people who are not members of this forum that will buy from them. Since you are a member, I was just trying to let you know the full story. While they are not a "flagship" Maxima parts company, they still do manage to get at least 50% of return business, its bound to happen. I just know that when I was a noob, I thought Stillen was great, but I found out later that they are not. I also found out that you can get much better quality stuff from other dealers (straight from the manufacturer), at a better price.
As far as the DDE's go, yes, $140 shipped is great, but remember that Umnitza got these made for us. Everything (almost) else that they sell is geared towards BMW's. They deserve my respect because of this, and if it costs me an extra 15-20 bucks to get it from the creators, then so be it. I find them much easier to deal with if there ever is a problem, and most of the time, they give good discounts to org members.
Say for instance, that Brian Catts designs a turbo for our car, and initially offers it to us for a fair price (what do they go for???), but then starts distributing them to places like CM or SCO and they lower the price to about 200 bucks cheaper then Brain sells them for. Well thats great for us, but what about Brian? Im sure his sells would drop. And he would have been the original one that stuck his neck out for us. I think it might leave a bad pattern that could lead to us not having the availability of things we want. And secondly, Id ratehr spend the extra money to support the efforts and also have the peace of mind that if something goes wrong, then I got it from the source and know who to talk to.

Just some things to think about as you mod away...

Greg from customenterprise was good on his word and I just placed the order at the price he said, another reason why I highly recommend customenterprise so back to the basics of this thread my rating of customenterprise is 5 stars!

As far as the DDEs are concerned, Matt @ Umnitza would take care of you regardless of where you bought it from. It's not like he's going to shun you b/c you bought from CM (if, in fact, CM is just an Umnitza reseller). If not, forget what I said

Greg, this is james again, i sent you a message on your website yesterday and i am also interested in purchaseing the black houseing clear lensed tailights for the 02-03 maxima, after seeing them on todds car (2K3MAX2NV) at the smith haven meet , they look ALOT better than they do in the picture, definatly keep us posted on when they will be back in stock, ill buy them that day!

Those taillights are very difficult to get. As you know they are all clear and don't have a colored reflector. So the factory is reluctant to bring more in as the DOT is confiscating clear lens lights like crazy. The ones you see being sold the past few months is on one shipment that got past inspections at customs. most are all gone. We been trying to get the factory to send us more but they are not to willing. In 2 weeks I will be flying to Taiwan to meet with the factories, I will see what I can do.

Thanks,
Greg

Not to be an idiot or anything, Greg, but I did a live chat with one of the folks at CM a few weeks ago inquiring about a part (don't remember what) and CM price matching it. I was told you aren't doing that any longer. What gives? I do remember the part I mentioned was considerably cheaper at redlinemax but was told no price matching.

I have and idea Greg, This might be a far shot and totaly fail or this might work in your favor, if you post a poll on maxima.org, your website, as well as other maxima sites and forums and see how many people would purchase the tail lights if you got them back in stock. If many people reply to the poll positively, saying that they would purchase the product, and you brought this information to the company saying "look my pool says that at least 150 people would buy these tail lights" it might pursued them to ship them to you. If they know that they will be making money than they might reconsider. As we all know money talks bu11**** walks.
Just an idea...

In one of our meetings earlier this week is when Greg discussed bringing back the price matching policy. At the time of your chat we did not have that policy. As of this week we will be bringing that policy back stronger than ever. I just wanted to clear up that you weren't being blown off or ignored for your request.

Thanks Tyler. I didn't feel I was being blown off or anything of that sort. I was only surprised that CM had stopped doing it for a while. Glad to hear you're bringing it back.

I ordered a set of red/clears for my 98 two days ago, received them yesterday and put them on immediately. Thanks again CM for outstanding service. I have ordered several things the past few years and have not been let down yet. The tail lights sent were perfect and an OEM quality and fit.
