Problems With Custommaxima?

I was just wondering how many people have trouble with custommaxima shipping items. I ordered some stuff on the 2nd of june, and they still haven't shipped the items...I asked them last week when they would ship and they told me that it would ship by the end of the week....that was last week....has anyone else had these kind of problems?

I ordered some bulbs from custommaxima.com on 27 May 05. Their website said they were in stock. I Got an e-mail from Jose on 27 May 05 stating that one bulb was out of stock. On 31 May 05 he emailed me again stating that the rest of my items were out of stock also. Items shipped in a timely manner, the delay was caused by me forgetting I aksed for some clear bumper lights. They shipped as soon as I paid for those bumper lights.

Still waiting for my situation to be resolved, sent an email yesterday to Jose, Greg and Roger. Hmmmm. Sometimes I wonder if any of you even check your email.

Mass: did you call them? The only way things seem to get done around there is if you constantly hound them. I've been e-mailing, PM'ing, calling...in fact I'm calling again today!

I heard the same crap for two months. I most likely will never buy from them again.

yeah I did end up getting it, I dont mind if I have to wait for an order. I do mind when someone tells me "it will be here next week" and they are still saying that two weeks later and we keep on going through the same thing over and over.

Agreed. If someone tells me to allow 6-8 weeks for shipping, I don't mind waiting as long as it comes when they said it would (although I'll probably take my business elsewhere).
If I'm told it'll be 2 weeks, then told it'll be the week after, and then the week after that, it's insulting. Just say a month if that's the best you can do!

Yea I am not mad for waiting that part doesn't bother me.....its when I am told that items will ship at this time then they don't....then I call, and I am told that it will ship by next week.....then it doesn't....

where's my intake shipping/tracking number?

I ordered an injen intake on 10th of July, it was listed in stock. Called on Monday the 18th to check the status of order to see if it shipped, because I wanted to cancel the order.... I was told it was shipped.... Still no shipping confirmation via email since then. What the heck is going on????

THis may be my last and only purchase the way it currently being handled...

I just said the same crap about a month ago....

you always go back... I had to order a high-flow cat from them, they were cheap and it was at my doorstep the next day. The guy I talked to was nice and took good care of me...

I dont get CM, sometimes they are on fire, and sometimes you want to throw your phone across the room talking to them.... I guess it depends on who you deal with.

I appreciate Custom Enterprise for supporting a community and a car that really doesn't have much of a following- compared to others. They do alot as far as getting parts produced and gaining our platform publicity.

My first two purchases went off without a problem. No shipping as I live in Connecticut and was able to visit the warehouse for parts pickup. Two weeks ago I called CE at 1pm for a price on just two rear struts as mine had blown that day and needed replacements. The rep told me he did not have authority to split a set of four, but would call the manager and get back to me in ten minutes. Three hours later I called back and the rep was packing up to leave for the day, the hours of operation still allowed me to take a ride down there and get the parts. He didn't quote me a price but sent me to another sales rep who did. The price was too high and told me 'If you can find a better price at another shop' they could do it for that. So I did, and they couldn't do it. Supposedly it was way below their cost, so much for price matching. I like to support the community and try to spend my money at CE, Redmax, Cattman, etc rather than a general retailer. But they will get nothing more from me, not even a visit to the website.
