Beware Of Camino Real Chevorlet!!!!!!!!

These bastards are crooks. I got the car for 7995 with their stupid waranty they threw in. First thing they did was tell me I had no alarm in my car I told them it did and they looked under the hood and said there were no sensors. I then tested it out and proved them wrong. I guess they didn't like that because when I took the car home I found that I have been driving with NO COOLANT!!!! BLACK OIL and crappy tires. I new they were bad from the beginning but I didn't care since I was going to buy new ones anyway. Now heres where it really gets ugly. Yesterday I took it to Buena Park Nissan for service. They called me back up and told me to take the car back to the dealership I got it from. They said the car shouldn't have been sold to me in the condition it was in. The tires were so bad to the point the wear indicator bars were showing on the inside. The AC and Alternator drive belts are cracked there was massive corrosion under the battery. The Axle boot is torn and the rear brakes have 20% life left. Nissan got all of it on paper but now the big question is do you think Camino Real is going to perform the work they should have done before selling the car? I mean come on they are a dealership or in this cars a stealership they can't sell someone a car that isn't safe to drive especially since the tag said it wasn't being sold as-is. Do you guys think the dealership will fix what they didn't fix?

I would think those are pretty serious. Doesn't the car die if the alternator drive belt snaps? I don't know my main concern is the drive belts and the rear brakes and the axle boot. I am getting new tires anyway so I'm not worried about them. They'll probably want to inspect the car themselves but I can't believe they would leave stuff like that out they didn't sell it AS-IS or anything so I have to call them up and show them the problems Nissan listed.

Any particular reason YOU didn't look at the tires and OPEN the hood and make the most basic of inspection?

Dealer shouldn't have sold the car that way. But at the same time, you should have noticed this stuff also.

It is your own fault that you bought a car with crappy tires, black oil and no coolant......It takes all of 5 minutes to check most of these things you said were wrong with the car.....
You are in for a life of automotive misery if you do not learn that most car lots are out to screw you if you let them...

There has to be a warranty even if its for a month. You should have got a carfax and the main thing is you should have check all of this out before you signede the papers. Take it back, start some sh*t in the showroom call a lawyer and BBB. Good luck Warren

Yeah I should've inspected it further. The tires I knew were bad but I didn't really care because I planned on getting better ones. As for under the hood yeah I should've done that as well. I got a car fax and there was nothing wrong with it. However it showed that the last service reported to them was done at 28,000 miles. Anyways I took it back and they replaced EVERYTHING with genuine Nissan Parts they were even rude enough to leave the belts and brake pads on the passenger floor in a bag. I then took it to nissan and they didn't find anything wrong so all is good now.

Thanks I'm thinking of taking an in-depth car class next semester just so I can get a better understanding and have a less chance of being cheated.
