Dave B @ Southpoint Nissan

This is like the 5th time I've dealt with Dave and I know the .org as a whole tends to have good praises about him, but I figured I'd finally give credit where it's due. When it comes to dealing with Nissan, you couldn't possibly ask for a better experience. He's a real nice guy, I have yet to stump him with a request, he's quick to get back to you if he's not available, he's found hard to get parts for me, he's willing to do things above and beyond his job when it comes to car stuff, and best of all he REMEMBERS YOU. I brought up a part request today I had originally discussed with him casually about a year ago and he knew the exact part (a bracket) before I even said what it was! The best part, he is always, ALWAYS able to get a better price on something than 99% of other Nissan dealers in the country.

Long story short, Dave is your man when it comes to dealing with Nissan parts. Thanks again, Dave!

More praise for Dave. I ordered a couple parts about a month ago and hadn't received them yet, so yesterday I gave him a call. He explained to me the package had gotten into some trouble due to wrong addresses and what not, and we figured out the situation and got everything corrected. What I expected was to get a phone call today letting me know what was up and then maybe my package in a week or so. Nope, I come home today to a FedEx box that was overnighted from Texas. Not only did it have my parts (two very small items), but he included an oil filter as well! All this at no cost to me. I don't even remotely deserve this treatment but Dave, as usual, went above and beyond his duties to help out a customer.

Makes me wonder why anyone even deals with other Nissan parts departments Thanks again, Dave! You are THE best!

I have never bought anything from Dave before, but he sounds like a great person I can't wait to get the chance to do business with the man!

EVERYTHING the previous posters said about Dave is true! The guy is as good as gold. He's very helpful, friendly, and pretty much seems too good to be true. I wish that he was not several states away as I'd love to meet him. Plus, I'd take him out to lunch and let him run up the bill as he deserves it.

Like others in the big thread said, I too feel sorry for the other Dave B.

GREAT GUY!!!!

Bought suspension parts from Dave about two years ago. He's a really nice person. VERYYYY PATIENTTTTTT. I was asking him all kind of questions and he took his time to answer EACH ONE. I wanted to buy a bunch of stuff to do my suspension and he recommended not to buy everything I wanted. So in the long run I saved even more money based on his recommendation.

Thanks Dave.

Great experience!

I just bought a new MAF sensor over the phone from DaveB. He was quick and efficient, but very friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel confident about the transaction. I even got the tracking number in the same call. The part goes out today. Dave Burnette is the MAN!

When you call him to place your order, he'll give it to you then.

In related news, the MAF he sold me a year ago is still going strong!

I just spoke with Dave Burnett - indeed he is the nicest guy to deal with! found me the touch-up paint I cannot find locally (and that my local stealer can "special order" for $32-n-change + tax) for $13!

He's also looking for a non-oem application turn signal pigtails for my lighting retro. He committed to finding some that will work & get back to me.

Dave told me he is no longer at the parts counter - he's now the parts manager. His # is (512) 444-1400, ext. 116. He tended to me in the middle of his managerial duties.

He's at local Honda dealership. I saw him not too long ago when I was picking up some parts and chewed the fat and caught up.with him. He doesn't come on here really anymore.

I just go through Courtesy now since they're local...prices have ended up being fairly close to what DaveB's were, and now no shipping charge.

I've always used Courtesy. Prices between the two varied between the two but Dave was local to me so much more convenient, plus good conversation.
Although some items Dave couldn't get, like MEVI pieces.
