Racingline Performance

I drive a 04 maxima and i had a 4" catback exhaust installed coming all the way to the pipe

the car sounded nice as it was

today i installed a Racingline Y pipe ... and all i can say is she sounds even better

the first run i took i could feel the difference in power .... and i heard it breathing

just look at it

you can tell the weight difference ....

Amazing product ...5*

easy installation too !

my car is rawring ... you guys make some headers i'll be first to get em ! ... only thing left for me to put on !

Does that new Y pipe have a crushed section after the flex and is that a bent area after that crushed looking section??

but didn't make any difference the pipping was still good

i had the y pipe sitting in my trunk for a good 2 weeks waiting to get put on

for the Power of course. Apparently Bigger is Better in this thread and he is the first person on Earth with a maxima sporting 4" EXHAUST.

quick question *noob question **

i was thinking about buying a Y pipe for my 2007 maxima. right now i have maganaflow exhaust with no resonator running a 2 n half inch pipe i still have cat on it with stock oem b pipe ... now when i put this (http://racinglineperformance.com/sho...&idcategory=24 ) y pipe in do i leave my oem cat in or does it come out.. and if it comes out do i get a check engine light? cause i was reading the think n it said "Although this pipe deletes 1 of the 3 stock catalytic converters, no SES/CEL lights are triggered. The catalytic converter being removed is not metered and the cars ECU does not realize it is missing." but if u keep reading it also says " **Note** Because the is pipe deletes a catalytic converter, it is thus branded FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY." plz if anyone can help me out be great help.. also which one is the best y pipe n where will it be cheapest.. thanks

yea thats only thing.. but according to other ppl i know here in ny they said i cannot even pass as it is now because i have full cat back exhaust.. so its already not meeting NY emissions requirements.. but i dont need inspection till like 5/2011 so i have to figure out by then

Dont listen to what "they" are telling you, The third cat is not monitored, which means there is no sensor and if there is no sensor then nothing tells the ecu something is missing, Unless you get a visual inspection or if they put the pipe on the back of your car to analyze the exhaust fumes you should be good. When you go in for a inspection they connect the car via obd port and look around and thats it. As long as you have no SES light you should be ok.
