I ordered the Tokico Illumina Shocks/Springs Suspension Kit for my 95 Maxima last night 06-29-10 and was called today that the item is NOT in stock and is a rare item. Earliest they can have it shipped out is Weds 07-07-10. This is not good business. Why is the item on the site if they do not have it in stock. The employee "Andy" even gave me this reason that with "the economy and all" people don't stock the item I ordered anymore.

Should I cancel my order?

Most of these places, are NOT warehouses full of parts, they're drop shippers.

They get the parts same place everyone else does, the distributers regional warehouse.

EDIT: While it appears that this place MAY be a warehouse....Model specific shocks for a 15 year old car? And you'll have to wait an entire week?!?

Grip required here by you.

Just received the struts and springs today. Exactly ONE month after I made the order.

I was eyeing up some springs on their website, but if it's going to take them a full month to get me my springs, then I'll pay the $20 extra and get them from somebody a little more reputable.

I bought one of the knockoff Greddy Evo2 from this site and it shipped the next day and receive it in less than a week. But I had called to make sure they had it in stock before, not sure if they lie or not, but u could try that?

That's probably not a bad idea. I'm not so much worried about getting ripped off, as I always use my credit card. If they play games with shipping, I just call my CC company and dispute the charges. I'm more worried that I will have to wait forever to get my parts!
