Ebay: Performance Liquidation

Has anybody ever done business with them? I want to buy a knock sensor for $15 and they've sold 22 of them. Are they trust worthy?

Also they have a list of cars that this knock sensor fits. How do I know it will fit a '97, what is the reference number for a '97 KS?

Thanks

FYI Nissan uses the same knock sensor on many of their engines. many different VQ engines/cars, VE Maxima, KA24DE in the 240SX and Altima, and others.

it's the same person operating it as chandlermotorsports. the guy told me he doesn't even get on it to check it, just straight up selling stuff. no returns, etc. that's why it's so cheap. i bought one from them, but never got to installing it.
i'd also suggest buying oem.

I bought a KS from them on a whim and it arrived. it doesn't have any writing on it and its made of a harder matte finish plastic.

I'm skeptical about it though because when i touch each of the conductors with my multimeter i get nothing. I'm pretty sure this means there's no continuity right? If so I'm pissed but what do you expect for a $15 KS?

You can't measure continuity. Is there supposed to be continuity?

You're testing and judging without knowing the correct parameters.
Seriously?

Terminal 1 to ground should be 500-620 k Ohm, using a meter that can test to at least 10 M Ohm. Try that and report back.

Ahh. So to increase sales, they should raise the price, because then you'd believe they were higher quality!

code came back 3 more times. I just got done getting refunded from ebay. I contacted performance liquidation once saying the ks was broken. they sent back a generic response like "we stand behind our products etc etc" and told me to send it back and to give them an address to send a new one too. I sent them my address and asked if they would send the new ks first and they never got back to me. The ks was only $16 but even still I'm not sending it to them if I have no guarantee i'm getting a new one in return. So I sent another email a week later and nothing. Ended up filing a complaint with ebay and just got a very nice customer service email from them saying my money will be refunded.

Performance Liquidation is now blacklisted, just go with the $25 ks or just fork over $48 for the oem nissan ones. Just think of it this way, before ebay the oem nissan sensors were over $100.
