For the best prices for parts on the web go to Nissan of Olathe!

Not only are the prices low but unlike most places that charge 10 dollars or more to ship Nissan of Olathe ships your parts for free regardless of the size of the order. Along with that you get 10% off your first order with a one time coupon with no expiration date so you can really rack up on the savings. Here is the link to their online store:

http://www.mccarthynissan.com/order-parts/

Also, if you did not know already the database for Nissan part numbers it can be found here:

http://nissan4u.com

But it is not all in the price since I started ordering from them late last year (October) their Internet sales specialist Chris Haley has provided excellent service all the way around. He has been great with communication, speed, keeping me informed on the status of my offers and even when a mistake is made unlike most online retailers he will take tangible efforts to correct issue instead of just saying I am sorry. He will go as far as any online retailer I have ever seen to ensure customer satisfaction.

With that much being said if you do decide to order parts from Nissan of Olathe just mention Elijah Royal sent you on the message section of the order form. That goes to the last part of why Nissan Olathe is so great if you refer someone else to order from there you get a 10% off coupon for each person who places an order with them.

So this endorsement is not completely altruistic but, I would still have the same things to say about Nissan of Olathe even without the reference incentive. Try the site you will like it best price on the web check it out!

Prices are still ****ing ridiculous. Whose brilliant idea was it at Nissan to charge an arm and a leg for large parts that do nothing except sit in a warehouse for DECADES? It all just gets thrown away eventually, I know this for a fact. I have sat here at my computer knowing that thousands of pieces of brand new 80's Nissan parts are being thrown in a landfill on the other side of the country. It's sad, disgusting and extremely wasteful.

But ultimately you do not have a choice. If you want new OEM parts you have to go through Nissan's network and they would rather let the parts rot than give them away wholesale. You can't blame the dealership for that it is Nissan who really holds all the parts for older cars and places restriction for exactly how cheap parts can be sold for. Most times after a while dealerships will sell off their "legacy" excess inventory for dirt cheap and the parts go like wildfire and then they are at the mercy of Nissan's network to get those parts again if you order them. So cracking on dealerships for the wastefulness of it all it futile and inaccurate.

Just ordered a lower radiator support from them. I will let you know how it all goes. I normally buy from worldpartsexpress.com since there only 200 miles from me.
McCarthy is the same price as them with the 10% discount for being a first time buyer but I am saving $14 with the free shipping.

Courtesy has it at $139 plus shipping.
McCarthy has it at $144 plus a 10% discount and free shipping. So I paid $129.94 shipped for it.

Thanks Maxima Joe for setting things straight. That is the difference for the most part from other online part sellers which normally charge $8.95 or 10% of the order for shipping Nissan of Olathe has free shipping with no minimum size so you can get small items like oil filters AE cross drilled pedals without adding a huge chunk to your bottom line which is the price. Not to mention they give you opportunities to get coupons and have seasonal 5% to 10% coupons from time to time.

I just compared the Olathe dealer to Courtesy, and they don't seem to handle all the parts - engine parts, for instance are quite limited. I couldn't find the UIM or LIM for a 2008 Altima 3.5L at the Olathe dealer, for instance.

I wish they did have everything, since I live 60 miles from them. Oh well, I'll stick with Courtesy Nissan.

Well things are not looking good for this dealer in my book. I placed my order late Friday night and have yet to hear anything on my order. My order shows Status: On Order
So if my items wasn't stocked and is a back order item then someone should have notified me the first business day.
I have had supports delivered to me from worldpartexpress.com in 2 days.

Question is are they full blown OEM or DOT approved pieces it is easy to get DOT approved aftermarket replica piece from a dedicated parts warehouse but you have to give a dealership a couple of days to get the parts from Nissan North America who has a tight hold on legacy parts. Do you honestly believe any online Nissan dealer that sell true genuine OEM Nissan parts is going to have parts for a 4th Gen Maxima on hand? They would be overflowing with parts then. As for the status of the item did you contact Chris before complaining to us? If so for all you know the part you ordered could be on its way already and someone forgot to mark it on your account. I know I had such an incident occur before and Mr.Haley definitely took care of the issue even though he did not have to after that when I made a mistake. I seems to me you just don't have experience ordering large ticket legacy parts from dealerships and you expect too much as a result.

If you pull the part number from nissan4u.com they can get the parts from Nissan North America in 5 days or less (And for a car so new they most likely have in stock) that's why I put the site up on the post. In fact I bet most people don't know you can still get 20th Anniversary Edition pieces brand new from dealerships and only Nissan dealerships if you can get the part numbers. Trust me if you actually care about getting the real pieces for your car and they only 60 miles away from you I would not go anywhere else.

If you cannot get the part number you can also contact Chris Haley and he will give you the 411 on the parts you need.

Yes worldpartsexpress sells nothing but genuine OEM parts for many different manufactures. Nissan being one of them. They did stock the radiator support when I ordered it several months ago.

No I never contacted Chris. I'm not complaining but I for sure would never purchase from them again or recommend anybody to buy from there.
To order an item from any business and not hear a word from them in 3 business days is absurd. I have plenty of experience ordering car parts from dealerships. I also happen to work in a very similar field.

I just checked nissan4u.com, and the Altima goes only up thru 2007 and the Maxima up thru 2006, for parts. Courtesy has much better on-line illustrations, when you're looking for parts like 2010 intake manifold bolts. I like pictures... For what it's worth - you have provided a couple of new parts references for me to use, and thanks for that.
