Here's the situation, I buy reverse indiglo gauges on ebay (supposedly with an aluminum looking face). They are listed as being for 95-98 SE's. I know that there is a difference between 95 and 98 (analog vs digital odometer) so I tried twice to clarify that i have a 1998 GLE. I sent a question before I even bid and got a response saying "they will fit for sure". Ok, they must know there is a difference.. As I pay for the auction, I note AGAIN that I have a 1998 GLE and that I know they are different from the 95's and I want to make sure they get it right. I receive them and guess what? They are for 95's.. Analog odometer.. Ok.. so they messed up. I called trying to resolve the situation.. They tell me that I am **** out of luck because even if it did fit a 98 SE, which it doesn't.. I INTENDED them for a 98 GLE.. I try to explain the difference. That they are wrong. They said they've sold thousands and no one has ever complained. I am FURIOUS. The people there are unresponsive and refused to let me explain calmly that there is a difference between the 95 and 98. He insists that they are the same. I offer to show him the difference... Hell, I even offered to conference in a random Nissan dealership to prove my point. They sent me the wrong item..
NO! They would not listen, insisting that I didn't try it on a 98 SE.. Kept cutting me off saying they've sold thousands and never had complaints like that. I try to tell him its the same as a 98 GLE, except for the color. NO! I tell him FINE. I'll go find someone with a 98 SE... He ignores that.. Tells me in the end I can send it back .. They don't pay for shipping and I have to pay a 30% restocking fee FOR THEIR MISTAKE! I AM FURIOUS.. How do they run a business like that!?!? What happened to the customer is always right...
Also I brought up the fact that the description said that it was supposed to have an aluminum color face.. "No one ever brought that up.."
WTF!?!
Am I wrong here?
Is it me or their logic does not make sense? "It doesn't matter whether or not it fits on a 98 SE now, you intended it for a 98 GLE"

Thanks though..
I resolved my problem with them by contacting the Better business Buruea. After weeks of them not returning my calls or EM's they sent me a refund with a letter of apology along with a copy of the letter the BBB sent them.
