I highly recommend waxing your wheels. Especially for the sawblades, mine shine like chrome now.
I washed my car first, along with tires and wheels of course.
Then I polished the wheels with Mothers Aluminum/Mag polish.
Then put 1 thin coat of Meguiars Gold Class on them.
Let them sit for about 5 minutes.
Wipe off the wax.
**note** sunglasses may be needed to look directly at wheels afterward

sorry that I don't have pics to show. I don't have a digital cam and I don't feel like taking 24 pictures of the wheels and getting one hour developing just for this.

Hi Paul, What's up?

I waxed my Evo's a couple weekends ago. Wheels do look nice cleaned up and waxed. Every tire rotation I clean the backside of the wheels and give them some wax. Their painted so they don't shine quite like yours though.

I also put a coat on the KYB's Gotta keep those shocks lookin nice

Yeah, I also clean the backside of my wheels every tire rotation.
I haven't waxed the backside of the wheels yet. I'll do that next time I take the wheels off. I move up to Manitowoc in a month, so I'm gonna try to organize a meet up there. There are lots of parking lots and parks along Lake Michigan up there. I'll see what I can do. Have you tried to DL the MIRC chat program yet? Tom and I are both in there.

If you organize a meet I will be there. My wedding is coming up in September so I'm pretty busy lately, but there's always time for Maxima meets. I haven't done anything to my car since the meet, maybe by then I will have gotten my @ss in gear.

I'll have to try the MIRC thing again. I'm usually on at work and getting out of our security system is nearly impossible (for a computer illiterate person like myself anyway)
