I have the 3M clearmask on the front end and it is great for preventing paint chipping, but bugs are hard to get off. Any suggestions that won't damage it?

 

I wash my car with Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash and use a bug sponge (lightly) to get the bugs. This is same as I use for windshield. Lots of suds and light pressure works for me. I also keep it waxed - same as the rest of the car.
