help.. removed vinyl between windows

I recently removed the vinyl stickers between my windows on my doors. The drivers side came off perfect with only a little bit of glue remaining. After a few hrs of scratching ..i got all the glue off..and wiped it clean. The passenger side left much more glue. And after removing all the glue...it looks like crap.. the paint looks dull and scratched....I tried to wash and buff it a little bit...but no results.. Anyone know what i should do???

did you not heat it up prior to taking it off? cause mine left hardly any glue. As for making it shiny again, I'm not quite sure. sorry.

Try a product like Skin So Soft, or Goo Gone. They work good at getting the glue off,and for the dull finish try a pure polish like Meguiar's.

I think i scratched the hell out of it and maybe took the clear coat off the passenger side. But anyway, the paint looks dull. I bought some scratch x by meguirs. Hopefully that will work. then ill try using some polish and wax.
