Glass polish. Then Rain X so you don't have to use your wipers.
Some people have used 0000 steel wool with their glass cleaner to take out imperfections/water spots on their glass. Use the glass cleaner as a "lube", and LIGHTLY rub the steel wool over the window. Then wipe off with towels. This may do the trick.

You may want to (gently!) clean your wiper blades more often because they tend to accumulate a lot of dust settling on them, which probably leads to scratching and creating a "line" on the glass. Good luck.

it's basically this stuff you put onto your windshield that will cause the water to bead right off. works pretty well.
