you're in trouble.

Seek the help of a professional, especially for the tears.

There are complete leather replacement kits availble in the GD section for under $1000 if you're really interested in getting it done right.
I'm SURE the quality is better than stock -- ask around.

Personally, i think Nissan leather sucks ( i have it too) but whattya gonna do? I prefer the preventative maintenance schedule which is LEXOL - LEXOL & LEXOL.

LEXOL cleaner WILL remove stubborn ground-in dirt in light colored leather with a bit of elbow grease and a mild scrub-pad -- but i DOUBT it will get rid of marker stains!

Tan leather is a pain cuz it shows everything. I've seen pro shops literally AIR-BRUSHING the leather of Porsches to refurbish it, if that tells you anything.

sorry - but I think you're in for an expensive solution.
good luck,
gr

I also have a huge tear in my leather seats. Nothing you can do about that short of taking it to a upholstery shop. As for the marker, it depends what it is....sharpie? Try stoners Xenit, hair spray, meguiar's APC+, or a leather cleaner and see if that works.
