Abandoning Klasse?

 

No. I'm using a different sealer and don't want to use the Klasse Glaze. No problems with it.

 

Which sealer are you trying?

 

P21S Carnauba wax. I did my Mom's SLK over the weekend with AIO and P21S and the shine is freakin' awesome. Her car is in the background of my sig pic

Dave, Try the P21S over the top of the SG.

I use the S100 carnuba over the top of the SG and it adds to the shine. I still like the idea of an acrylic coat under the carnuba though.

 

Yup, that's supposed to be the way to go. That's what I'll be doing if I can get a few more coats of SG on the car before the weather gets 100% bad all the time.

My new theory is that a sealant is really necesary, especially during the winter. My car fared much better last winter using Ardex wax, which is insanely durable, so a sealant can only be better.
