anyone try this to repair leather?

anyone try this to repair leather?

i have about a half inch scrathc on my passenger side leather seat.. it is not deep at all just on the surface, but took the top layer of beige leather off.. i was think about trying this stuff http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI...&category=4960 .
i really just need to know of a product out there to dye the scratch beige again or does anyone have any ideas?? thanks

that product usually includes a bunch of different liquid vinyl colors. you have to mix it to match. generally speaking, on a hight stress area, the stuff will peal off ot recrack, and its difficult to match the color, especially when it's been worn out
