new tint, what are some do's and don'ts ?
just got my car retinted yesterday with 35% all around
. i was wondering what's the best way to maintain them. the tint guy told me to stay away from windex and don't roll down the windows for the initial 5 days after a fresh tint job. any other do's and don'ts that i should know about? thanks in advance.

The Windex thing is correct. Never use any cleaner that has amonia in it. Man, I gotta get tint this spring.
DON'T EVER USE AMONIA!! It will eventually make the tint peel off. And I would advise not rolling the windows down for a week or so. And also don't open your sunroof if you have one, the wind coming in from it will peel the tint off the back window.
Handsoap and water will work fine, but most windsheild cleaners for cars are tint-safe and don't contain ammonia. I personally prefer Mother's Glass cleaner because I think it leaves the least streaks.
