Best way to remove swirl marks?
By hand:
Swirl remover (3M, Meguiar's)
Fine Cut Rubbing Compound (3M, Meguiar's) OR Meguiar's #83 "DACP"
Good folded terry cloths or applicator sponges
Time
Gatorade
For more detailed info check out some of the posts in the big Tips thread above (should be near the beginning I think) or maybe this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ighlight=swirl This thread mainly mentions machine use, but doing it by hand is similar - you have to work the product long enough.
You can either dedicate a lot of time to do this all at once, or you can break the job up over several days, but you should rewash before each session.

I have millions of swirls in my super black paint so I have ordered Einszett Metallic polish on PrinzII's advice. I will wash with Dawn, then two coats of Einszett, two coats of Meguairs #7 Glaze, and then one-two coats of the NXT.
Meg Swirl Remover and ScratchX are "fillers" only. They will just make the swirls less obvious. I would rather have them gone instead of filled.

A "fillers only" product would be something like the #7 you ordered.
Good luck with your project - just be sure to thoroughly work in the Einszett polishes for best results. Take your time, don't rush the job, and check your progress as you work.
