I hate seeing dirt or salt on my baby. Usually once a week, and if the weather is crappy, then maybe twice.

Anywhere from 2 - 4 times per week. I'm a bit obsessive about it, but its a great stress releiver.

I have to wash my 99 SE at least twice a week because she is black and I do not have splash gaurds so all it takes is a small puddle or a few drops to mess up my shine.

Depending on time of year, during summer i wash it atleast 1-2 times a week, but during the winter i wash it when it gets dirty, somtimes i let it get really bad but i dont let the salt stay on for more than two weeks.

I used to be obessive with washing it every week. I finally overcome my obessive disorder with the car and worry about myself. Hehehehe. Actually, now I only wash it when I get crappy weather especially the rain and dust, i get dirt spot on my car. It irriates me. Thank god I don't have a BLACK car, that would drive me insane.

every 2 weeks or whenever i dont' feel as lazy... but since it's good weather and the start of a new season, it's time to do the full blown detail.

I am not fortunate enough to have a covered parking spot. I do try to wash my car every Friday, because I get off of work a little early on Friday's. I agree with wanting to have it clean for the weekends. It just looks so good.

I probably wash it no more than once a week or so. it is just such a soothing experience for me. I get lost in washing it.

I sadly, have to use the car wash, live in an apartment building, so can't really drop a hose from the 4th floor apt.

I hear you. We have a couple of good ones here, I don`t mean those gas station touchless ones that don`t remove diddly. I mean the ones that let you soap and soak and rinse and chamois.

So far I've washed the car 3 times in 0.1 miles. And I'll definitely be washing it again tomorrow.

(first time was from a robin which aparently can crap more than it's own body weight)

since the weather in the alamo city is ever changing, it hard to keep washing the max everyother day. I wash it now about every other week.

Mine is garaged also but I hate to put max to bed dirty. It is sort of like putting a baby to bed with a soiled diaper.

during the summer...once every week and a hald. The car hardly leaves the garage so theres no use in washing it too often.

during the winter...2 times a month.

I don't wash my car often cause it will rain again and with my crappy newspaper it predicts the next 5 days it will rain but only none of them will and so they move on and say it will rain every day after the 5 days and one of them is usually right but sometimes they're right so they keep you guessing its so hard washing your car and then watching it get dirty. Can you do a poll on how often people clean the interior. I vaccum at least once a week. Thats more often than I do my own home

In the winter (where it is full of salt and snow here in Northern NJ), I wash my car generally once every 2 weeks. In the summer I tend to try to keep my car somewhat clean at all times, which usually means about once a week.

if i leave my car out in my driveway under the tree for even 5 minutes, it gets covered with little tiny drops of stuff. it covers the entire car and hardens, causing the paint to feel gritty. because of this, i have to wash my car at least once a week. any ideas what this could be?
